Horse Racing Weekend begins in New Orleans

We begin our horse racing weekend with a terrific Louisiana route down in New Orleans.  A great weekend of racing is on tap as we head into the Louisiana Derby and the Dubai World Cup races on Saturday.

Fair Grounds Race 2 {1 mile 70 yards~4 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~LA~Optional Claiming}

A short field of six will go to the gate in this Louisiana bred route. There is plenty of speed to produce a quick pace. Speed numbers are fairly close for these ladies. It should be a fantastic little race.

#6 Glamoride (Geroux / Pish) might benefit from a speedy pace with the third highest last out speed number and three sound workouts. She is coming into the race with a modest freshening ready to track the pace. This gal holds the highest speed number at the distance.
$1 WIN  /  $2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#2 Heatseeker Sharon (Valdivia / F. Leggio) should challenge with the second highest speed number at the distance. Her last race was a stakes race at a longer route and she has put in two solid peaking workouts. This gal should be forwardly placed.

#1 Miss Betty Boo (Torres / Viator) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one peaking workout. This gal is another that should be forwardly placed.

#3 Another Pinot (C. Hernandez / A. Leggio) should go off as the favorite with the highest last out speed number and a two race progression. She should travel close to the pace seeking to spring forward going into the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#6 Glamoride  /  #2 Heatseeker  /  #1 Miss Betty Boo  /  #3 Another Pinot.
