Horse Racing Weekend begins in Warm Florida

We begin our horse racing weekend viewing a nice Turf mile down in warm and sunny Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 7 {1 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Claiming}

A very nice race with a full field of twelve taking to the green. There is enough speed to maintain a honest pace. Speed numbers are relatively close which will make for a very competitive contest. It should be a great race on a terrific Thursday.

#5 Holy Scat (Castellano / Cibelli) might have the edge with the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and one sound workout. She should be capable of tracking the pace closely and spring into the stretch striding for the victory.
$1 WIN  /  $2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#10 Beeline (Lanerie / Romans) should challenge on the front end with the fourth highest last out speed number and two hearty workouts. She holds the highest speed number at the distance. This gal has a decent tactical running style which will benefit her.

#1 Mobilize (Lezcano / Abreu) will contend with the highest last out speed number at a longer route and one solid workout. She has the tactical speed to stay on the pace and kick away in the stretch. This gal loves the distance and the Gulfstream course.

#2 Hopefaithjoy ( Gudiel / Farro) will be in the mix sharing the second highest last out speed number while going a longer route. She holds the third highest speed number at the distance and second highest speed number over the course. This girl should track and close well.

10 CENT Superfecta

#5 Holy Scat  /  #10 Beeline  /  #1 Mobilize  /  #2 Hopefaithjoy.

Last Superfecta Sunday (3/27) Results
Santa Anita R9.  Dream Summer Stakes.  We misfired big-time in our 10 CENT Superfecta box effort landing only one of the four wagering interests required. Superfecta went 9-1-3-8.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Light One, finished 7th.
Bankroll gets hacked to $13.51.
