Superfecta Sunday on Tampa Turf

Back on the Turf for our Superfecta Sunday. We take a look at a nice Allowance race down in Tampa, Florida.

Tampa Bay Downs Race 7 {1 mile~TURF~4 year-old Up~Allowance}

A good field of ten will hit the grass in this Allowance feature. There is sufficient speed to maintain a diligent pace. Speed numbers are close with some of these lads still on the improve. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#4 Dundalk (Camacho / Caravjal) looks ready to secure another victory with the second highest last out speed number and two sound workouts. This lad is 100% in the money over the Tampa green in two starts. A son of Baltimore Bob, he should be tracking a fluent pace and strike in the stretch.

#9 Regal Image (Castanon / Stidham) looks to take another step forward in his third career start. In his last he won at the distance and over this course securing the fifth highest last out speed number. Two wholesome workouts in the last thirty days add to his readiness for a good race. A son of Medaglia d'Oro, he could be forwardly placed. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$1 SHOW.

#3 Pirate Beach (Lynch / Sienkewicz) appears to be in great form with the second highest last out speed number and a versatile running style. He is 75% in the money over the Tampa course from four starts. A son of Treasure Beach [GB], he steps in from a more difficult allowance race.

#7 Siggie (Marin / Leman) is coming off an extended layoff after racing at one of America's premiere tracks, Saratoga. He holds the fourth highest (tie) speed number at the distance and has put in three superb peaking workouts. A son of Freud, he should be forwardly placed ready for action early.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#4 Dundalk  +  #9 Regal Image  +  #3 Pirate Beach  +  #7 Siggie.
