East Coast Horses are Hip!!

Our horse racing weekend ends on the East coast this week with a New Jersey allowance at Monmouth Park and a grade one at Saratoga.

Monmouth Park Race 7 {1 mile 70 yard~3 year old Up~NJ~Allowance}
This is a fairly equally matched group of eleven that will run in this Jersey allowance route.  Boomer's Ranger (Arroyo / Calderon) has a slight edge over the crew with the second highest speed number at the distance and a solid workout.  Perky Juge (Fragoso / Perkins) will challenge for the win with the third highest last out speed number, a six race progression (this guy has improved in all six of his starts), and two hearty, peaking workouts.  Steve N Alex (P. Lopez / Hills) looks ready with a decent last out speed number off a bit of a longer route and one clearly peaking workout.  Bosox Fan (Trujillo / Aristone) looks live with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one good workout.  Cadence King (Marquez / Margotta) is sharp to suprise coming off a little bit longer route and one fabulous workout.  Let's play wondeful Monmouth Park.

$2 WIN / SHOW:  #7 Boomer's Ranger.
$2 SHOW:  #2 Perky Juge.
10 CENT Superfecta:  #7 Boomer's Ranger / #2 Perky Juge / #1 Steve N Alex / #4 Bosox Fan, #6 Cadence King.

Saratoga Race 10 {Personal Ensign~G1~1 1/4 mile~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
This small, but talented field of five will make for an exciting race.  The horse to beat will be Rachel Alexander (Borel / Asmussen) with the highest speed numbers across the board, a 95% in the money record, and four vigorous, peaking workouts.  Life At Ten (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) will give her a challenge with the second highest speed number at the distance, the second highest last out speed number, and four terrific workouts.  Miss Singhix [IRE] (Valdivia / Wolfson) looks ready to make another improvement with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three hardy, peaking workouts.  Let's play sensational Saratoga.
