Back to Back Belmont

Yes, it's a Belmont Park kind of Friday.  Today we look at a sprint on the dirt at that lovable venue.

Belmont Park Race 8 {7 furlongs~3 year old~Claiming}
A great race between eight horses of equal talent.  Nicely balanced between all running styles.  This one should be an exciting one.

#5 Sensational Slam (Cohen / Baker) will be running this distance for the first time, but looks well prepped with the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two hearty workouts.  Could track and close well.
$1 WIN / SHOW.

#3 Trulee Scrappin (Leparoux / Maker) will make a mighty challenge with the third highest last out speed number and two robust workouts.  He should close swiftly into a good pace.
$1 PLACE / SHOW.

#2 Expecting Cash (Nakatani / Asmussen) is another who will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one solid workout.  He should battle in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interests

#4 Washington's Rules (Cruz / McPeek) looks to mount a strong effort with the fourth highest last out speed number, a decent run in a previous seven furlong outing, and one athletic workout.  He could also be there in the closing yards.
