Turf Test at the Jersey Shore

It could be a little moist along the Jersey Shore as we conclude our horse racing weekend at the wonderful Monmouth Park.

Monmouth Park Race 10 {1 1/16 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A good field of ten will step onto the grass for this race.  Most will be coming off a longer route in their last which should make for a competitive affair.  A battle between the forwardly placed and the closing types will ensue.

#4 Exclusive Strike (Lopez / Servis) will be the one to beat with the highest last out speed number, the highest speed number at the distance, and a two race progression.  Should be able to track the leaders and move forward in the stretch.  He has two drawbacks: no posted works and is approaching the ten race threshold.
No Value.

#9 Mustang Island (Trujillo / Simon) will mount a favorable challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number, the third highest speed number at the distance, and two bold workouts.  He should be another tracking the pace ready to strike.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Courage to Be (Ferrer / Sacco) is another that will challenge with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two stout workouts.  He could press the leaders and swoop in during the stretch run.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#1 Bringbackthemagic (Cotto / DiMauro) could surprise with a decent last out speed number over a longer route, the third highest (tie) speed number at the distance, and one robust workout.  He could track and close into the pace.

10 CENT Superfecta

#4 Exclusive Strike / #9 Mustang Island / #3 Courage to Be / #1 Bringbackthemagic.
