Woodbine Fillies

To open up the horse racing weekend we look at the young fillies up at fabulous Woodbine in the great North.

Woodbine Race 6 {1 mile 70 yards~2 year old~fillies~ONT~Maiden Special Weight}
These are always fun races to handicap, but go easy on the wagering.  This one stacks up as a very competitive field of ten.  Virtually any of these gals can win it as all but one will be trying this distance for the first time.  There is one first time starter in the field.

#2 Matadora (Contreras / Squires) appears to have the edge having gone this distance last time out with a comparatively decent speed number.  She is on a two race progression and has put in two stout, peaking workouts.  She may be tracking the leaders ready for a race in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Fife Ness (Pizzaro / Vella) will challenge with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two sincere workouts.  She could find herself closing down this talented field.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#8 Zee's Cure (Da Silva / De Paulo) is a contender too sharing the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two athletic works.  She has the capability to wire this field with her speed.

#1 Future Surprise (Ramsammy / Minshall) looks ready to pop a good one with the second highest last out speed number and three superior workouts.  She will undoubtedly track the pace ready to make her move in the stretch.

Woodbine does not offer a 10 CENT Superfecta
