Saratoga Stakes

A beautiful Saturday for a Saratoga Stakes race.

Saratoga Race 10 {Woodward~G1~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~Stakes}
A most excellent group of eight horses will make the start in this summer annual.  A filly, Havre De Grace, will take on the boys.  The entire field has competed in some of the premiere races in North America.  All appear ready to run well.

#4 Rule (Castellano / Pletcher) appears to have a slight edge with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two solid workouts.  He is a speedster that could wire this field.
$1 WIN / SHOW.

#3 Giant Oak (Bridgmohan / Block) should be able to grab a piece with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two robust workouts.  He should have a strong pace to run at and get the job done.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Havre De Grace (Dominguez / L. Jones) will take on the boys and some pretty big boys at that.  She holds the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four well-built, peaking workouts.  This gal is ready and it would be no surprise if she pressed them into the stretch and ran away from them.

#8 Mambo Meister (Jara / Gleaves) will surprise with the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and three sprinty, peaking workouts.  This guy looks like he will also press the pace and make his move at the turn into the stretch.  Certainly one to watch in this race.

10 CENT Superfecta

#4 Rule / #3 Giant Oak / #6 Havre De Grace / #8 Mambo Meister.
