Superfecta Sunday at Belmont

The first Superfecta Sunday of July and we view a contentious Turf race at expansive Belmont Park.

Belmont Park Race 8 {1 1/16 mile~inner TURF~3 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
An equally matched group of eight will take to the inner Turf in this Optional Claiming exercise.  There is very little speed which may clump the horses tightly together for the quickening around the final turn.  It is an interesting bunch as all are showing nice improvements over their races this year and all have elected to make a move up in class.  This race should be a great 10 CENT Superfecta box challenge.

#3 Liquidity Trap (Castellano / Jacobson) looks to have a nano-edge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three worthy workouts.  He will be making his second start this year after a very long layoff.  This lad could track the pace in close proximity of the leaders and launch swiftly into the stretch.

#2 Yo Blue (C. Velasquez / Freidman) should contend with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one peaking workout.  He has notched two victories in as many starts at this distance.  By default, he could be the motor on the front end and either wire the field or hold on to hit the board.  He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#1 Anaphylaxis (J. Espinoza / Hizo) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.  He is another that could track the pace closely and let loose in the stretch.

#6 Nevada (Saez / Orseno) looks to improve again with his first Turf try.  He holds the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stout workouts.  This guy holds the highest overall speed number of any in the race.  The handsome dude could surprise.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#3 Liquidity Trap  +  #2 Yo Blue  +  #1 Anaphylaxis  +  #6 Nevada.
