Big Cap Stakes Saturday

On this fantastic Stakes Saturday we look in on a supreme grade one race.

Santa Anita Park Race 9 {Santa Anita Handicap~G1~1 1/4 mile~4 year old Up~Stakes}
A smashing field of eight will enter the starting gate in this historic grade one race.  There is speed, so a decent pace is assured.  Only four of these fellas have traveled this distance.  The other four will be stretching out to this distance for the first time.  It should be an epic battle.

#2 Mucho Macho Man (Stevens / Ritvo) should be able to score with the second highest last out speed number and four solid workouts.  This son of Macho Uno holds the second highest speed number at the distance.  Like many in this race, he loves the Santa Anita track.
$2 WIN / $3 SHOW.

#1 Will Take Charge (Saez / Lukas) will challenge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three stellar workouts that include two bullets.  This millionaire son of Unbridled's Song should be tracking the pace closely ready to explode in the lane.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Hear the Ghost (Rosario / Hollendorfer) could surprise as he stretches out with a couple of very good last out speed numbers, a four race progression, and four superb workouts.  This son of Ghostzapper is 100% in the money from seven career starts.  This lad is another who loves the Santa Anita dirt.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#7 Game On Dude (Smith / Baffert) will contend as the front runner with the highest speed number at the distance.  He ran o.k. his last out  and has put in four superior peaking workouts.  This son of Awesome Again could win this if he is left loose on the front end.
