Santa Anita Superfecta Sunday

On this Sunny Sunday we take a look in on a splendid Turf mile in Southern California.

Santa Anita Park Race 4 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Starter Allowance}
A full field of eleven will venture onto the grass in this mid- race card feature.  There is enough speed in here to keep the pace humming.  A few in here are looking forward to stretching out as well as try the surface for the first time.  It should be a fantastic handicappers race.  We will once again try to lasso a group of four to complete our 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#9 Sheer Talent (Bejarano / Glatt) should be in contention for the victory with fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and three near perfect peaking workouts.  This lad appears ready to fire over the turf while staying close to the pace.

#5 Gallant Charm (Maldonado / Avila) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number and a two race progression. He also holds the third highest speed number at the distance.  He should track the pace ready to close swiftly.

#4 Alpha Bullet (Mojica / Grayson) will be making his third career start after a modest layoff.  This guy will be stretching out with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and four stamina peaking workouts.  He has a versatile running style that may keep him close to the pace.  He is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#11 Tenkiller Kid (T. Baze / O'Neill) should contend with the third highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and one solid workout.  He is another expected to track and close strongly.  He looks to improve his only effort on turf.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#9 Sheer Talent  +  #5 Gallant Charm  +  #4 Alpha Bullet  +  #11 Tenkiller Kid.
