Horse Racing Weekend begins at Keeneland

We open up our horse racing weekend with a nice classic Turf race at magnificent Keeneland.

Keeneland Race 8 {1 1/2 mile~TURF~4 year-old Up~Allowance}
A competitive group of eleven will hit the green in this allowance feature. There is enough speed here to keep the pace rolling. Speed numbers are fairly close which should make the race very contentious. It should be a very good wagering event.

#2 Heyaarat (Maragh / McLaughlin) might have the edge from the gate with the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and four superb peaking workouts. This lad should be forwardly placed ready to move the field through comfortable fractions.
$1 WIN  /  $2 SHOW.

#5 Xtra Luck (B. Hernandez / Howard) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two solid peaking workouts. He also should be forwardly placed ready to strike going into the stretch.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#1 Mr. Jenney (Rosario / Clement) is coming off an extended layoff, but should be ready to roll. He has been well prepped with four robust workouts. His tracking/closing running style will aid him should a fast pace develop.

#8 Buck Benny (Graham / Motion) has had a nice freshening and should be ready to contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and four tested workouts. He should be tracking the pace closely ready to jump into the stretch battle.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Heyaarat  /  #5 Xtra Luck  /  #1 Mr. Jenney  /  #8 Buck Benny.

Last Superfecta Sunday (4/19) Results
Santa Anita R7.  San Simeon--G3.  We missed out on our 10 CENT Superfecta box play by two.  Superfecta went 1-5-2-4.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Sweet Swap, finished 5th.
Bankroll tumbles to $0.70. We will supplement today with a Hamilton.
