Superfecta Sunday, Southern Cal Style

On this Superfecta Sunday we take a peek at a fine group of Turfers in a graded stakes mile.

Santa Anita Race 7 {Wilshire~G3~1 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~fillies/mares~Graded Stakes}
A closely matched group of eight will hit the green in this feature Turf action. There is sufficient speed to carry a speedy pace. Speed numbers closely resemble one another, It should be a highly competitive event. Our task is to knit together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#2 Thegilinthatsong (Nakatani / Hollendorfer) goes into this one in relatively good form, fresh and ready to drop into this mile distance. She holds a couple of very good last out speed numbers and three superb workouts. This gal should be tracking the pace seeking to strike going into the stretch run. She is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Birdlover [GB] (Bejarano / O'Neill) should share pace setting duties. She also shares the highest last out speed number and has put in two stout workouts. This gal holds the highest speed number at the distance. She too will be coming off a brief freshening.

#7 Indecise (Prat / Mandella) should challenge sharing the highest last out speed number, working a three race progression, and putting in four strengthening works. She loves the Turf, the course, and the distance. Taking up a tracking position, she could no doubt find her way to the winners circle.
