Superfecta at Santa Anita

On this Superfecta Sunday we take a look in on a great downhill Turf race on the final card of the glorious Santa Anita season.

Santa Anita Park Race 7 {San Simeon~G3~6 1/2 furlongs~downhill TURF~4 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}
A very talented group of eight will cruise downhill in this feature graded stakes race. There is a plethora of speed which will make it a fast race. The speed numbers are very, very close making it a very competitive race. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#8 Sweet Swap (Talamo / Sadler) might have the edge with a versatile running style. He holds the fourth highest last out speed number and has put in three stout workouts. This lad holds the second highest speed number going downhill and is an impressive 83% in the money on the course. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Pure Tactics (Desormeaux / O'Neill) should challenge with the third highest last out speed number at a route and one strong workout. This guy has the most versatility of the group and should fit in to any pace that develops. He holds the third fastest speed number going downhill.

#2 Home Run Kitten (Stevens / Hofmans) will contend with the highest last out speed number at a mile route, a four race progression, and four supreme workouts. This lad has already notched two wins from three starts on the downhill course. With a ton of speed signed on, he will use his late running style to great advantage.

#5 Holy Lute (Smith / Cassidy) could be favored with the highest speed number over the downhill Turf. He holds the second highest last out speed number at a route and has put in four sizzling workouts. This guy is another with a versatile running style that will suit this field.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#8 Sweet Swap  +  #6 Pure Tactics  +  #2 Home Run Kitten  +  #5 Holy Lute.
