Big "A" Friday

On this Friday we take a look at a nice optional claiming feature at the Big "A".

Aqueduct Race 8 {1 mile~4 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A terrific group of ten will go to the gate in this mile feature.  There is plenty of speed in this one.  A horse that uses that speed tactically could emerge with the victory.

#4 Assured Victory (Maragh / B. Brown) might have a slight edge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two solid workouts.  He could be the one that uses his tactical speed judiciously and make the dash in the stretch.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#7 Iron Lou (Fragoso / Toscano) should contend with a nice pressing attack.  He has a couple of decent last out speed numbers.  This guy appears to love the Aqueduct course as well as relishing the distance.  He holds the highest overall speed number which came at Aqueduct.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#6 Street Fight (J. Ortiz / Contessa) will be in the fight with a good couple of last out speed numbers and two excellent workouts.  He appears to have the tactical speed to stay with this group.  This guy could impress.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#5 Drink With Pride (K. Coa / Gargan) is a speedy type that should be able to stay in the mix with the highest last out speed number at a longer route and a two race progression.  He also maintains the highest speed number at the distance.

#3 Springcourt (I. Ortiz / Gullo) should be in the hunt with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route.  He shares the second highest speed number at the distance and has an enviable 100% in the money record over five starts at the distance.  This guy could track the pace and move into the drivers seat.

10 CENT Superfecta

#4 Assured Victory / #7 Iron Lou / #6 Street Fight / #5 Drink With Pride, #3 Springcourt.
