Friday "Marathon" Distance

Thank goodness it is Friday.  Today we take a peek at a very nice Turf race in the alluring West.

Santa Anita Park Race 7 {1 1/2 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A great group of eight will go to the gate.  There is a tiny bit of speed.  This race may resemble a Euro race with a strong quickening bunch in the stretch.

#2 Saint Loop [FR] (Gomez / Canani) looks much the best with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb peaking workouts.  This French bred has the ability to stay close to the leaders and then strike.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Lime Rickey (Bejarano / Spawr) is a veteran turfer looking to mount a serious challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number.  He is the only runner that has gone this distance achieving a victory.  This guy has the tactical speed to use at great advantage.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Rintoo (Maldonado / Hendricks) should be in contention with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three solid peaking workouts.  This colt should close well when the quickening begins.

#1 Toruk Makto (Espinoza / Puype) should be in the mix with the second highest last out speed number and two fierce workouts.  He has ability to track the pace and launch mightily in the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Saint Loop [FR], #7 Lime Rickey / #2, #7 / #3 Rintoo, #1 Toruk Makto / #3, #1.
