Downhill Friday Turf

On this Friday we look to sunny Southern California for some Turf.

Santa Anita Park Race 3 {6 1/2 furlongs~downhill TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~CA~Allowance}
A good field of ten snappy gals will start at the top of the Turf in this California Bred Allowance race.  There is enough speed in here, coupled with a few forwardly placed, to keep the pace strong.  Most have not yet ventured onto the downhill Turf course in their careers.  Many are coming off a mile Turf race.  It should be a very good race.

#4 Mum's Truckee (Gomez / Miller) should be the deserved favorite with the second highest (tie) last out speed number at a mile Turf race and one bullet workout.  She should be coming late to scoop up the victory.
$2 SHOW.

#8 My Cinsation (Maldonado / Bonde) should present a solid challenge sharing the second highest last out speed number on this downhill Turf course in her only career start.  She has put in three wicked workouts in the last thirty days and should be able to build on her performance.  This filly will enjoy being part of the speed force.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#2 Chimi Dee (M. Garcia / Garcia) will contend with the third highest last out speed number at a Turf mile and two robust workouts.  She could track and close into the pace efficiently.

#7 Wild in the Saddle (Stra / Meza) could be the big surprise with the highest last out speed number,  a very nice four race progression, and one hearty workout.  She should be forwardly placed ready to strike in the stretch run.

#3 Rebelution (E. Flores / Mulhall) will be making her second start after running the fourth highest last out speed number over a Turf mile.  She has put in three superb workouts in preparation.  She can be counted in with a decent closing kick.
