Stakes Saturday Pan American

Today we go to the TURF for our Stakes Saturday.  We take a look at classic race at beautiful Gulfstream Park.

Gulfstream Park Race 10 {Pan American~G2~1 1/2 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~Stakes}
A fairly well experienced field of ten will take to the grass in this annual affair.  There will be a decent pace in this long Turf route as there are a number in here that like to be forwardly placed.  Many have done very well at this distance.  More have done well over the Gulfstream turf course.  It should be a tremendously exciting race.

#3 Ioya Bigtime (J. Sanchez / Block) has a slight edge with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three sensational peaking workouts.  This lad can be expected to be forwardly placed, perhaps on the lead.  He holds the highest speed number at the distance.
$1 WIN / $2 PLACE / $3 SHOW.

#10 Newsdad (Lezcano / Mott) will be coming off an extended break having shown the highest last out speed number.  He was working a two race progression, and has put in four very impressive workouts prepping for this one.  He has the most versatile running style of the group and will use it to great advantage.
$1 PLACE / $2 SHOW.

#4 Mucho Mas Macho (Leyva / Collazo) is coming off a short layoff that followed the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and two robust workouts.  He should be closing swiftly into a strong pace.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#2 Teaks North (Prado / Nevin) should show his keen tracking ability as their other pacesetters in this one.  He shares the second highest last out speed number and has put in three stout workouts.

#8 Empire Builder (Castanon / Duco) could surprise with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two athletic workouts.  He could track and close well into a hot pace.
