Thursday TURFday at Gulfstream

We go to the TURF for the start of our horse racing weekend.  Spring is here.  Soon the grass will be looking greener and with some horse racing luck we may see some green too!

Gulfstream Park Race 9 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A great group of ten will make their way onto the grass for this allowance feature.  There is a bit of speed in this one to keep the pace fluid.  The speedsters and those that like to be forwardly placed may have an edge.  A very nice race on the sod for the second day of Spring.

#2 Professor Palmer (Castanon / Mason) might have a slight advantage with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route and two judicious workouts.  He holds the highest speed number at the distance among this group.  A sweet pressing attack could do the trick.
$1 SHOW.

#7 River Boss (Lanerie / Kenneally) could surprise making his fourth career start sharing the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route and working a three race progression.  In his last he notched a win over the Turf.  He could find himself forwardly placed ready to roll.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Lemon View (Bravo / Vassillieva) should be in the mix with the highest (tie) last out speed number and one athletic workout.  He has great tactical speed which could be used for a distinct advantage.

#4 Twigazuri Strait (J. Velazquez / Nihei) looks to be in the hunt with the second highest last out speed number at a much longer route, a two race progression, and one solid workout.  This guy should be tracking the pace ready for an opening to drive on through.

#5 Saint of Saints (Rosario / Romans) appears ready to press or track his way for a piece of the purse pie with the third highest last out speed number and two superb peaking workouts.  This guy could improve in his second start over the green.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Professor Palmer / #7 River Boss / #3 Lemon View / #4 Twigazuri Strait, #5 Saint of Saints.
