Anticipating Saratoga

Let's get back at it on this Thursday.  Our horse racing weekend begins With Anticipation at Saratoga.

Saratoga Race 10 {With Anticipation~G2~1 1/16 mile~TURF~2 year old~Stakes}
An equally talented field of eight youngsters will hit the grass in this annual event.  Most in here like to be forwardly placed so it should be a good jostle to the finish.  A great well bred field will make for a great race.

#1 Bashart (Castellano / Pletcher) might have the edge with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two fine workouts.  He is one of many that should be forwardly placed.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#8 General Jack (Napravnik / Maker) should challenge with the highest last out speed number at a sprint, a two race progression, and one robust workout.  He should be part of the forwardly placed pack.
$1 SHOW.

#3 Tiger Bourbon (Lezcano / Kenneally) will contend with the second highest last out speed number in his only race to date and four superb workouts.  He too should find himself forwardly placed ready to roll.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Base Case Scenario (Albarado / Stall) should be in the mix with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three terrific peaking workouts.  Should the pace on the front end, his tracking ability will benefit him greatly.

10 CENT Superfecta

#1 Bashart / #8 General Jack / #3 Tiger Bourbon / #6 Base Case Scenario.

Last Superfecta Sunday (8/25) Results
Del Mar R9.  Pacific Classic--G1.  Our 10 CENT Superfecta box effort fell way short of the marking capturing only one wagering interest in the Superfecta sequence.  Superfecta went 11-7-5-6.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Delegation, finished 6th.
Bankroll takes a hit and falls to $24.04.
