Saratoga Stakes Saturday

On this last day of August, and the Labor Day weekend that unofficially marks the end of summer we take a good look at an amazing race of millionaire horses.

Saratoga Race 10 {Woodward~G1~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~Stakes}
A fantastic group of six will make their start in this annual graded stakes race.  There is sufficient speed and forwardly placed types to keep the pace honest.  It can be swaid these lads are the best of the best racing in America today.  A great race should unfold.

#5 Paynter (Bejarano / Baffert) should be the controlling speed and if he is able to hold off the challengers, could wire this field.  He comes into this with a couple of great last out speed numbers and four fierce workouts.  This guy holds an enviable 88% in the money record over eight career races.  He could stride right into the winners circle.
$1 WIN / $2 PLACE / $3 SHOW.

#4 Flat Out (Alvarado / Mott) should be right near the lead seeking an advantage with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and four dynamite peaking workouts.  He carries with him the tactical speed to out flank any of these.
$1 PLACE / $2 SHOW.

#2 Successful Dan (Leparoux / Loprestri) should challenge sharing the highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and putting in three solid peaking workouts.  He should be tracking the pace ready to pounce on any weakness in the leaders heading home.  This guy is another with a very credible in the money record of 86% over fourteen career starts.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Mucho Macho Man (Prado / Ritvo) will be in the mix with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two stout peaking workouts.  He relishes this Saratoga track and should be pressing forward.
