Superfecta Sunday at Saratoga

On this Superfecta Sunday we take a peek at a competitive TURF sprint at sensational Saratoga.

Saratoga Race 8 {5 1/2 furlongs~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Optional Claiming}
An evenly matched group of nine will take to the grass in this 65k optional claiming event.  There is plenty of speed and the rest could be forwardly placed which should heat this one up.  All are quite capable of making another improvement.  It should be quite a race.  Let's try to knit together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#2 Spun Silky (Napravnik / Saville) might have a slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one strong workout.  She can either motor on the front end or press the leaders. She also holds the second highest speed number at this distance.

#9 Spooky Kitten (J. Velazquez / Levine) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number at a longer turf sprint and three superb peaking workouts.  Should the pace begin to sting she could benefit the greatest by hanging back off the leaders.  This gal is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Normandy (Rosario / Jacobson) should contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers including her last in which she went seven furlongs over turf.  She has put in one peaking workout.  Another gal that should be forwardly placed ready to run.

#3 Strategic Missile (J. Ortiz / Feron) should be in the hunt with the third highest last out speed number, the highest speed number over the distance, and a sixty percent in the money record at "The Spa".  She is a pure presser, so should be on top of the pace set-up.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#2 Spun Silky  +  #9 Spooky Kitten  +  #6 Normandy  +  #3 Strategic Missile.
