TURF for the Horse Racing Weekend

Turf is on the docket for this horse racing weekend that begins today, Thursday.  We start with a wonderful TURF contest at the "Spa".  The Arlington Million is this Saturday (8/17).

Saratoga Race 8 {West Point~1 1/16 mile~inner TURF~3 year old Up~Stakes}
It will be a perfect day for racing as a sturdy field of ten takes to the grass in this high quality stakes race.  There is enough speed in here to keep the pace flowing.  It is strongly possible that a tracker will have the upper hand.

#2 Lubash (Lezcano / Clement) appears to have an edge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one solid workout.  He also holds the second highest speed number at the distance.  He could track this field to victory.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#8 Hangover Kid (I. Ortiz / Servis) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number at a longer TURF route, a three race progression, and one peaking workout.  This guy should track and close swiftly.
$1 SHOW.

#6 Street Game (Prado / Serpe) should contend with the third highest (tie) speed number at the distance.  He also has the highest speed number over the TURF.  This son of Street Cry has put in three explosive workouts which should bring him into peak form.  He has a certain amount of tactical speed which could benefit him greatly.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#10 Kharafa (Maragh / Hills) should be in the hunt with the second highest last out speed number and three hearty peaking workouts.  He is another tracker who should join the group closing around the turn.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Lubash / #8 Hangover Kid / #6 Street Game / #10 Kharafa.

Last Superfecta Sunday (8/11) Results
Saratoga R7.  Allowance.  We came close in our 10 CENT Superfecta box effort capturing three of the four positions.  Superfecta went 4-1-8-7.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Sense to Compete, finished 3rd for show money of $3.00.
Bankroll gets trimmed to $6.84.
