Real Good Friday

Another Friday rolls forward and we take in the grandeur of racing at Del Mar.

Del Mar Race 7 {Real Good Deal~7 furlongs~3 year old~CA~Stakes}
An equally talented field of eight will make their start in this featured stakes race.  There is enough speedsters and forwardly placed types to keep this pace rolling. Three quarters of the field are coming into this race with a brief freshening.  It promises to be a very exciting race.

#2 Tiz a Minister (Nakatani / Aquirre) is the class of this field with the highest last out speed number at a route, a three race progression, and two superb workouts.  He has done well over the Del Mar poly and will be closing fast.
$2 SHOW.

#3 U'narack (Leparoux / Hollendorfer) will challenge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a four race progression and four strong workouts.  He should be forwardly placed ready to get first jump on the field.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#5 Raised a Secret (Stevens / Glatt) should contend with the second highest last out speed number at a slightly longer sprint, a two race progression, and three hearty, peaking workouts.  This guy should be close to the pace tracking the leaders and ready to rumble.

#1 Omega Star (Bejarano / Hollendorfer) could be in the mix with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and four charged workouts.  He is another that will stay close waiting for the pace to develop and then fly.

#4 Follini (Talamo / Glatt) should be in the hunt sharing the third highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and putting in three athletic, peaking workouts.  He too will stay close and let it rip in the stretch.
