Stakes Saturday at Keeneland

On this Stakes Saturday we journey to Keeneland to take in a seven furlong sprint.

Keeneland Race 9 {Raven Run~G2~7 furlongs~3 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A huge field of fourteen equally matched fillies.  This will be a very contentious race.  There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed gals in this one to keep the pace strong.  No single filly stands out among the group.  The filly that gets the best trip should be victorious.

#5 Lighthouse Bay (Rocco / Weaver) could grab this one with the second highest (tie) last out speed number and two hearty workouts.  She is coming out of a grade one with roughly thirty days rest.  This gal will be primed and ready to rumble with her tracking style.
$1 WIN / $2 PLACE / $3 SHOW.

#7 Jewel of a Cat (DeCarlo / Perkins) should challenge with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two stout workouts.  This will be her first start over synthetic, but has run well over turf.  Expect her to sit close to the pace and stride swiftly into the stretch.
$1 PLACE / $2 SHOW.

#4 Silsita (Smith / Pletcher) could contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and four robust workouts.  She holds the second highest speed number over a synthetic surface.  This gal could be in the thick of it pressing the pace.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#10 My Option (EE Perez / Block) should be in the hunt with the third highest last out speed number at a route, a two race progression, and three sensational workouts.  This gal should take up a tracking position and swoop into the stretch.  She is 100% in the money in eight starts.

#14 Eden Prairie (Albarado / Pessin) could be in the mix sharing the second highest last out speed number, working a three race progression, and putting in two superb peaking workouts.  She has speed coming from the outside post.

10 CENT Superfecta

#5 Lighthouse Bay / #7 Jewel of a Cat / #4 Silsita / #10 My Option, #14 Eden Prairie.
