A Little Turf for a Friday

Best of Luck to all the horse players participating in the 15th Annual National Handicapping Championship.  May the Odds be in your favor.

On this Friday we take a look at a very competitive Turf contest in Southern Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 10 {1 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~Starter Optional Claiming}
A very closely matched group of twelve to take to the grass.  There is enough speed in this one to make the pace very swift.  All of these veteran Turfers have closely comparable speed numbers to make it anyone's race.

#8 Live In Joy (Rosario / Maker) might be able to pull off the victory with a couple of decent last out speed numbers at higher caliber races.  He holds the highest speed number at the distance and has put in two solid workouts.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Political Courage (Rocco / Matz) should challenge with the third highest last out speed number and one good workout.  He holds the fourth highest (tie) speed number at the distance.  If there is a speedy pace this guy should be able to capitalize with a strong kick.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Mr. Online (Carmouche / Pino) should play prominently with the highest last out speed number and a three race progression.  He should be forwardly placed hoping to control the pace.

#7 Concert Stage (Carabello / Iadisernia) will be in the hunt with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route and two superb workouts.  He too should be forwardly placed seeking to position himself for an opening.
