Friday Turf at Gulfstream

On this Friday we take in a nice Turf battle in sunny South Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A great group of eight will go to the gate in this feature race.  There is scant speed which should benefit the speedy few.  The vast majority in this one are coming off layoffs of various lengths.  Their speed numbers are relatively comparable.  It should be an excellent Turf battle.

#5 Bombaguia (Prado / Kimmel) might have the edge as the lone speedster in this field.  He has the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three beautiful peaking workouts.  This lad also has the second highest speed number at the distance.
$1 SHOW.

#1 Sleepless Knight (Lanerie / Breen) should be forwardly placed, ready for battle.  He holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and has put in one top workout.  This guy holds the highest speed number over the Gulfstream course.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#7 English Progress (Rosario / Mettee) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three robust workouts.  This lightly raced competitor has scored three victories in four career starts.  He should be tracking the pace ready to strike.

#2 Kalamos (Lezcano / Mott) should be in the mix with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route and three superb peaking workouts.  He will be making his second North American start after some success racing overseas.

10 CENT Superfecta

#5 Bombaguia  /  #1 Sleepless Knight  /  #7 English Progress  /  #2 Kalamos.
