Friday Mile at Del Mar

On this fantastic Friday we view a spectacular mile race at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.

Del Mar Race 6 {El Cajon~1 mile~3 year old~Stakes}
A great group of eight will go to the gate in this feature race. There is enough speed to keep a snappy pace. This competitive group have closely matched speed figs. It should be a good race.

#8 Conquest Two Step (Talamo / Casse) will be stretching out to a route with the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two solid workouts. he should be able to track and close mightily.
$2 SHOW.

#10 Red Outlaw (Maldonado / Miller) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three superb peaking workouts. He should be forwardly placed seeking his fifth victory in a row.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#9 Big Tire (Bejarano / Glatt) should contend with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route and one fluid workout. This fella should be tracking and closing well into a swift pace.

#6 Home School [IRE] (Trujillo / O'Neill) should be in the mix with the third highest last out speed number over turf and one robust workout. This guy has a 76% in the money record from thirteen starts.

Saratoga R5.  With Anticipation--G2.  Our first pick, Startup Nation, won (1st) for show money of $1.55.  Our second pick, International Star, finished 2nd for show money of $2.00.  Our third pick, Nutty Futty, finished 3rd for show money of $2.40.
Superfecta went 1-8-5-9.
Bankroll gains a few bucks settling at $25.39.
