Saratoga Friday

We take another look at Saratoga for some racing happiness.

Saratoga Race 9 {Personal Ensign~G1~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~Fillies/mares~Graded Stakes}
A top-flight field of seven will go to the gate in this annual race.  There is plenty of speed to keep the pace flowing.  These competitive gals are all fairly close in terms of speed figures.  It should be a terrific race.

#7 Princess of Sylmar (Castellano / Pletcher) is coming off a brief freshening ready to tackle this talented field. She holds the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route, the top speed fig for the distance, and has put in three robust workouts. This gal should track the field closely ready to jump into the stretch.
$1 SHOW.

#1 Antipathy (I. Ortiz / McLaughlin) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number and one sound workout.  She holds the second best speed number at the distance which earned a win at same. This lass should be motoring on the front end seeking to wire the field.
$1 SHOW.

#5 Belle Gallantey (J. Ortiz / Rodriguez) is also coming off a brief freshening with the third highest last out speed number at a longer route and three strong peaking workouts. She has the tactical speed to see how the pace forms and then make her move.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Close Hatches (Rosario / Mott) will be in the mix with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four solid peaking workouts. This gal also has the tactical speed to see how the pace develops and then pursue the leaders.
