Superfecta Sunday Turf at Saratoga

What an exciting day of racing at Arlington International yesterday.  On this Sunday we take in the beauty and splendor of the "Spa" for a wonderful Turf race.

Saratoga Race 10 {Sword Dancer~G1~1 1/2 mile~inner TURF~3 year old Up~Graded Stakes}
A hearty field of seven will take to the green in this annual contest.  There is sufficient speed to keep the pace humming.  Every last one of these guys are coming off a brief freshening which should produce a high caliber race.  All have gone this distance and their speed numbers insure a very competitive race.  Our task is to knit a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#4 Main Sequence (Maragh / Motion) could triumph with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two strong workouts.  He holds an enviable in the money record of 73% from fifteen starts.  This lad is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Twilight Eclipse (Lezcano / Albertrani) should challenge sharing the highest last out speed number, holding a three race progression, and putting in three robust workouts. He also holds the highest speed number at the distance.  This guy has the tactical speed to fit into whatever pace develops.

#2 Perfect Timber (Castellano / Attfield) may be sitting on a great performance with a couple of good to decent last out speed numbers, a three race progression, and four super fine workouts.  He has managed this distance well and will be closing swiftly.

#6 War Dancer (A. Garcia / McPeek) has superb running capability and should contend.  He has a couple of very good last out speed numbers, holds the third highest speed number at the distance, and has put in three stout workouts for the cause. Expect him to sit right off the pace ready to strike in the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#4 Main Sequence  +  #7 Twilight Eclipse  +  #2 Perfect Timber  +  #6 War Dancer.
