Horse Racing Weekend begins at the Spa

Its MILLION week.  Today, for the start of our horse racing weekend we take in a nice little stakes race at that great upstate New York horse racing paradise.

Saratoga Race 4 {Saratoga Dew Stakes~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A satisfying group of seven gals will hit the dirt in this early carded feature. There is sufficient speed to carry the pack through quick fractions. These ladies are closely matched in terms of speed numbers, but only two have gone this distance.  It should be a tremendous race.

#3 Tahoe Tigress (J. Ortiz / Englehart) has the talent to get the job done. She holds the highest last out speed number, a six race progression, and three solid peaking workouts.  This gal is one of the two that have gone this distance.  Expect her to close smoothly into a decent pace.
$1 WIN  /  $1 SHOW.

#6 Get Gorgeous (I. Ortiz / Donk) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three sound workouts. She has the tactical speed to stay close to the pace and pounce in the stretch.
$1 SHOW.

#5 Easy Living (Rosario / Clement) will contend holding the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and two superb peaking workouts.  This gal has the speed to wire the field.
$1 SHOW.

10 CENT Superfecta

NO 10 CENT Superfecta play due to the short field.
