Furlong Friday at Del Mar

To the Pacific coast we go to enjoy a nice sprint stakes race.

Del Mar Race 7 {Real Good Deal Stakes~7 furlongs~3 year old~CA~Stakes}
A Splendid group of twelve will make their start in this California bred stakes race.  There is plenty of speed to keep the race moving along nicely. All of these fellas are close in terms of speed numbers. It should be a sweet race.

#11 Alert Bay (T. Baze / Wright) might have a slight edge with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three serious workouts. He is 100% in the money from eight starts. Expect him to be tracking the pace and stride right into the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#10 Patriots Rule (F. Perez / Diodoro) should challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number at a route and one fine workout. This lad has the second highest speed number over synthetic and is 100% in the money from four starts over same.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#7 Red Outlaw (Maldonado / P. Miller) could contend with the second last out speed number, a three race progression, and four superb workouts. He is the only one in the group that has been in the money from two starts over the Del Mar poly.

#13 G.G. Ryder (Trujillo / Hollendorfer) could surprise sharing the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and three strong workouts. This lad should be forwardly placed poised to pounce in the stretch.
