Turf and Surf is Calling

The horse racing weekend begins.  Delightful Del Mar calls us to have some fun where the Turf meets the surf.  Today we look at some California gals ready to take to the Turf at the legendary race track.

Del Mar Race 6 {1 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~CA Bred~Optional Claiming}
A very nice field of ten will make their start.  It is evenly balanced with all running styles represented.  The race could shape up as a dandy going into the stretch.

#1 Reddy Go Jaylo (Talamo / Puype) looks amped to get the job done with the third highest last out speed number at a longer route, a four race progression, and four robust, peaking workouts.  She should be able to track the pace and get first jump on the leaders.
$2 SHOW.

#10 Butterfly Beach (Gomez / Puype) will challenge from a pressing position with the highest last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.  She will be ready to fly.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Laura Beasley (Blanc / Chew) should be in the mix with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression off the layoff, and three solid, peaking workouts.  She should be able to close swiftly.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Meltarib (Quinonez / V. Garcia) will also be in the hunt with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and two strong, peaking workouts.  She will find a good tracking position and then turn it on in the straight.
