Turfday at Arlington Park

With the Arlington Million fast approaching (August 13, 2011), its time to sharpen the Turf handicapping skills.  On this glorious Thursday there are five Turf races carded.  We will take a look at one.

Arlington Park Race 4 {1 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance Optional Claiming}
A talented group of six will line up for this race.  A couple of forwardly placed gals and the rest with closing attributes will make this race interesting.  All possess nerly equal speed numbers at the distance.

#4 A She's Adorable (Graham / Stidham) is coming off close to a year long layoff.  She holds the highest speed number at the distance, had a four race progression going prior to the layoff, and has put in three wonderful, peaking workouts.  She could fire fresh to win.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Viva Vino (Razo / Amoss) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number and four fabulous, peaking workouts.  She appears ready to roll for a share.
$2 SHOW.

#5 Silent Candy (Geroux / Hansen) will make a pressing attack with the third highest last out speed number and one sinewy workout.  She should make a nice run for a share.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#2 Akhmatova [GB] (Nakatani / Butler] could angle for a piece of the purse pie with the fourth highest last out speed number over a longer route on synthetic and one stellar workout.  She should be running late.
