Belmont Turf Thursday

Ahhh, the horse racing weekend begins.  We take a gander at a good Turf allowance race at Belmont Park.

Belmont Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A studdly group of eleven will make the start in this Turf battle.  All have strong speed numbers at the distance which should make it a highly competitive race.

#5 Hyper (Castellano / C. Brown) should be favored here with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four solid workouts.  He should track the leaders and then make his move.
$1 WIN / SHOW.

#2 Humble and Hungry (Lezcano / Correas) should challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number, an excellent in the money record, and three robust, peaking workouts.  He should be pressing the pace seeking the victory.
$1 PLACE / SHOW.

#1A Bakhoor (Dominguez / McLaughlin) could be the speed of the field with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.  A possible wire job could be in the making.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interests

#3 Eternal Ruler (Maragh / Ribaudo) appears ready to run well with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two strong workouts.  He could be the surprise in this event.
