Crisp, Clean Canada

There is not a lot better than a Canadian horse racing Sunday.  Today we explore a fully stocked race at wonderful Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Canada.

Woodbine Race 10 {Canadian International~G1~1 1/2 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Stakes}
What a great race to watch and wager.  The Canadian will have a huge, full field of sixteen that will go to the gate.  One gal and fifteen males.  A couple of Canadian breds, a handful of boys from Kentucky, and a large crop of Euro invaders.  It should make for an extremely competitive race particularly with some of the finest conditioners in the world bringing their charges in for the race.  Watch for the Euros to dominate this distance TURF race.

#10 Redwood [GB] (Hills / Hills) looks great in this spot as the pre-race favorite.  He holds a 78% in the money record at this distance.  Last out at Goodwood (GB) he ran a decent race over 1 1/2 mile Turf placing fourth.  He is expected to be forwardly placed.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Artic Cosmos (Buick / Gosden) ran second last out at Ascot (GB) in a 1 1/2 mile Turf race.  He will be coming into the second race of his form cycle and should demostrate vividly his tracking capability.
$2 SHOW.

#13 Treasure Beach [GB] (O'Donoghue / O'Brien) should step up nicely after a dissappointing fourteenth place finish in the "Arc" at Longchamp (FR).  He shows a superb 82% in the money record over eleven career races.  He appears to love this distance and should make his way mid-pack hoping to score.
#2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#5 Quest For Peace [IRE] (Fallon / Cumani) finished tremendously with a win at Ascot (GB) last out.  He is going for a fourth win in a row along an awesome five race progression.  He is another that can be expected to be forwardly placed.  Superb equine with a great chance to stride to victory.

#15 Bronze Cannon (Queally / Brown) could be the big surprise of the race having recently won, last out, at Kempton (GB) in a 1 1/2 mile race.  He has two wins from four starts at this distance as well as a nice two race progression.  Should the pace become heated, North American style, watch him swoop into a fierce closing kick for a piece of the purse pie.
