Keeneland on our Mind

We turn to Keeneland to start out a somewhat damp horse racing weekend.

Keeneland Race 8 {Sycamore~G3~1 1/2 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~Stakes}
This one has already been moved off the Turf incurring two scratches. Consequently, the field has been reduced to six brave horses who will battle on the polytrack.  All have comparatively close speed numbers.  It should be an interesting race.

#4 Center Divider (Leparoux / C. Brown) holds the edge with the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and four significant workouts.  Should be able to track the pace and zoom in for the win.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Eagle Poise (Albarado / Motion) should challenge considering the surface change.  He has a couple of decent last out efforts and three athletic workouts.  Holds the highest speed number over the surface.  He should be able to close nicely for a piece of the purse pie.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Sanagas [GER] (Maragh / Motion) will be in the mix with the second highest last out speed number and one robust workout.  He could close well battling for the wire.

#8 Bim Bam (Desormeaux / Moquett) should be in the hunt with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two superb workouts.  He should join the group in the fight for the finish.
