Ladies at Keeneland

Our horse racing weekend comes to a close and we take in a grade one at Keeneland.

The Breeder's Cup Championships are only a few weeks away.  Let's hope the weather is this nice for those races at historic Churchill Downs.

Keeneland Race 9 {Juddmonte Spinster~G1~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~fillies/mares}
This should be an outstanding race to wager and watch.  A field of twelve accomplished gals will make their way to the gate for the start of this grade one on the polytrack.  The entire field has closely matched speed figures which could make it anyone's race.  There are loads of angles to look at in this one.

#2 Aruna (Dominguez / Motion) will be making a Turf to synthetic switch for this.  She appears ready to race well with the second highest (three-way tie) last out speed number, a six race progression, and four ultra-fine workouts.  She should close nicely into a hot pace.
$2 SHOW.

#12 Pachattack (Maragh / Butler) will challenge, sharing the second highest last out speed number, holding a two race progression, and putting in two stamina producing workouts.  She could track the pace and make a mighty closing run.
$2 SHOW.

#5 Stars to Shine (Buick / Frostad) is another prepped to race well, also with the second highest last out speed number.  She has a seven race progression and two robust workouts to compliment her tracking style of running.  She loves the poly and should demonstrate it.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Sugar Again (Solis / Sheppard) looks ready to make a strong challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and the gal to post a speedy work over the Keeneland polytrack.  She loves the sythetic surface and should close well over it.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Aruna, #12 Pachattack / #2, #12 / #5 Stars to Shine, #4 Sugar Again / #5, #4.
