Friday Turf at Keeneland

A splendid Friday to view a race from one of the finest tracks in the country, Keeneland.

A very good crop of twelve are expected to make the start in this Turf battle.  Another strong group with incredibly good workout tabs.  This promises to be a real exciting race.

#5 Mutually Benefit (Leparoux / Proctor) has the edge with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three superb, peaking workouts.  She has some tactical speed which should help her exact a victory.

#12 Secret File (Albarado / Lopresti) will challenge while making her first Turf start.  She has the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stellar workouts.  She should be able to track the pace waiting for an opening drive.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Happy Henrietta (Baird / Boyce) will motor on the front end hoping to hold on for a piece of the purse.  She has the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two athletic, peaking workouts. 

#9 Granny Ramsey (Lanerie / Maker) will attempt to catch the leaders with a closing kick.  Her last out speed number shares second highest standing and she has put in three excellent, peaking workouts.  She is coming off a layoff and will be moving up in distance.

#7 Bella Medaglia (Theriot / Calhoun) should be in the mix with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two solid workouts.  She is another that will track the pace and make her move going into the straight-away.

Santa Anita R7.  Our first pick, Spirit Seeker, won (1st) for show money of $2.40.  Our second pick, Ambitioness, took 2nd for show money of $2.40.
Superfecta went 8-10-6-3.
Bankroll gains a buck to $13.65.
