A Little Jersey Turf

Today, on a sunny Friday, we look a Turf Sprint at Monmouth Park.

Monmouth Park Race 9 {5 furlongs~Turf~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A nice little Jersey Turf sprint featuring a field of eight.  Lots of speedsters will make for a furious pace.

#2 Naseeb (Rose / Capuano) looks ready coming off a very lengthy layoff with four superb workouts.  She is 100% in the money at the distance over three races.  This gal also holds the second highest speed number at the distance.  Should be forwardly placed ready to strike at the top of the turn.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Belarus (Boyce / White) is coming off a very nice effort on Preakness day.  She has the highest (triple digit) last out speed number and a four race progression. She could close well for the victory.
$2 SHOW.

#8 A Wink And A Smile (J. Valdivia / Breen) should put in a strong effort with a decent last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.  She could surprise.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#5 Wild Rainbow (Fragoso / Perkins) should be able to move over the grass well for her first time.  She has the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three stout workouts.
