Turf Solitude at Monmouth Park

Forgive the use of the vernacular...."mudder belmont".
Yes, after the Belmont bobble of yesterday we seek solitude along the Jersey shore in what appears to be a marvelous Turf race at Monmouth Park.

Monmouth Park Race 11 {Monmouth Stakes~G3~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up}
Fields of eight are great.  This race is no exception with a beautiful balance of running styles making it a handicappers dream.  All have a chance at victory.  It should be a very good race.

#7 Voodoo Swinge (Maragh / Clement) will be firing fresh off a freshening.  He will moving up to a longer distance for the first time in his well managed career.  He holds the highest last out speed number, a seven race progression, and two solid workouts.  He will close vigorously in what appears to be a speed duel brewing.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Roman Tiger (P. Lopez / Manning) should get first jump on the speedsters with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, an 88% in the money record at Monmouth Park, and two robust workouts.  Expect him to run hard in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Get Stormy (Dominguez / Bush) will be the deserved favorite in this race coming off two graded wins in a row.  A serious speed dual could develop between him and #1 Get Serious which leaves the trackers and closers to pick up the pieces.  Get Stormy has the third highest last out speed number and three exceptional workouts.  Victory is within reach if the pace doesn't overheat.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#1 Get Serious (Fragoso / Forbes) loves the Monmouth Park Turf with a superb 77% in the money record over thirteen races.  He is another speedster that will challenge #3 Get Stormy with the highest speed number at the distance and two stout, peaking workouts.  Could hold on for a piece or could wire the field.

10 CENT Superfecta

#7 Voodoo Swinge, #4 Roman Tiger / #7, #4 / #3 Get Stormy, #1 Get Serious / #3, #1.
