Arlington Park and Presque Isle

The horse racing weekend begins on an enjoyable Thursday at Arlington Park and Presque Isle Downs.

Arlington Park Race 8 {1 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A nice mile Turf contest at beautiful Arlington Park.  A number of scratches reduces this field to seven.  Cannon's Call (Riggs / Stidham) looks much the best with a terriffic in the money (75%) record at the distance, the highest last out turf speed number, a four race progression, and two robust, peaking workouts.  He also loves the Arlington Park course.  Seguro (Sanchez / Williamson) will try to give him a run for his money with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two athletic, peaking workouts.  Ruler of the Court (B. Meier / Poulos) will be looking to make an impact with a decent last out speed number, a four race progression, and one superb workout.  Alot of Honey (Karlsson / Dorris) looks well prepped with a decent last out speed number, a two race progression, and two well run, peaking workouts.  Let's Play Arlington Park.

Quite a nice field of eight will line up for this one.  Whistle Pig (Beckner / Carter) holds a very slight edge with a 100% in the money record over the distance, the third highest last out speed number, and a quality workout.  Ahvee's Destiny (Vega / Rice) will attempt to hold off the closing challenge of Whistle Pig.  With the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one bullet workout, Ahvee's Destiny will try to wire the field.  Heart of A King (Pino / Pino) will be forwardly placed, ready to pounce with the fourth highest last out speed number, and two royal workouts.  Mr. Windjammer (Suarez / Buckley) will also be in the hunt with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one fluid workout.  Let's play Presque Isle Downs.
