The Turf at Arlington Park

The horse racing weekend begins today with a Turf route at Arlington Park.

Hopefully the threat of rain will not wash this one off the Turf.  A field of ten talented gals goes to the start for this race.  Saygoodnightgracie (Castanon / Boyce) looks to have a slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two hardy workouts.  Seeking to challenge will be America's Blossom (Graham / Kirby) with a decent last out speed number and three robust workouts.  Dundalk Dust (Perez / Block) looks ready with a decent last out speed number at a longer route and two athletic workouts.  Southern Wonder (Sukie / Darjean) looks solid with the third highest (tie) last out speed number and one quality workout.  Another that will be looking to grab a piece of the purse pie will be Sweet Lemon Chello (Thornton / Merritt) with a move from synthetic to Turf and two hearty workouts.  Let's play the Arlington Park green.
