Back to Keeneland for Friday Features

Another fantastic Friday.  Today we look at a couple of nice races at Keeneland.

Keeneland Race 8 {7 furlongs~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A couple of scratches have already been posted on Keeneland's website reducing this field to ten.  Aikenite (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) has the edge with the third highest last out speed number at a mile route and a two race progression.  Moe Man (Lanerie / Wilkes) will challenge with the highest last out speed number at a mile route, a four race progression, and two superb workouts.  Fast Alex (Albarado / Geier) will surprise coming off a mile route and three terrific, peaking workouts.  Advice (Leparoux / Budge) will be in the hunt coming off a year layoff.  He has put in four strong, peaking workouts.  Bee Line's Edge (Creed / Hughes) should do well with the fourth highest last out speed number and two sensational workouts.  Let's play Keeneland.

A great line-up of eleven gals go to the start.  Broken Dreams (Gomez / Proctor) looks competitive with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four fierce workouts.  West Ocean (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) will challenge with the highest last out speed number and one good workout.  Silver Time (Lanerie / Barkley) will be in the mix with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty, peaking workouts.  Canadian Ballet (Desormeaux / Rice) will also be in the hunt with the third highest last out speed number as well, a two race progression, and one peaking workout.  Let's give Keeneland a second shot.

Thursday's Results
Keeneland R8.  Our first pick, Accept, finished 10th.  Our second pick, Cloneylass [IRE], finished 3rd for show money of $5.40.  Superfecta went 11-10-1-13.
Bankroll inches up to $7.80.
