Whoa! Keeneland Friday

On this beautiful Fall Friday we look at a Turf stakes race for the gals.

Keeneland Race 9 {Pin Oak Valley View~G3~1 1/16 mile~Turf~3 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A great crop of twelve fillies will go to the gate in this race.  No Explaining [IRE] appears to have the edge with the second highest speed number at the distance, a decent last out speed number, and a four fantastic, peaking workouts.  Fugitive Angel (Napravnik / Sheppard) will give chase with the highest speed number at the distance, a decent last out speed number, and two robust workouts.  Also giving chase will be In the Slips (Gomez / Fox) with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route and four solid workouts.  Prior to a layoff she had a three race progression going.  Ice Mist (Castanon / Flint) will be in the mix with the highest last out speed number and a three race progression.  Silent Candy (M. Baze / Hansen) can be expected to be ready with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, coming off a longer route, and two strong workouts.  Let's make our play on a Keeneland Friday.

Keeneland R8.  Our first pick, Brass Hat, won (1st) for show money of $3.60.  Our second pick, Musketier [GER], finished 3rd for show money of $3.00.  Superfecta went 5-1-7-11.
Bankroll nudges up to $19.50.
