Late Races This Evening

Thank goodness it is Friday.  The Breeder's Cup is only a month away.  Life is good!  Today we look at a couple of late races (from a Midwest perspective).  A couple of synthetic sprints; one at Hollywood Park and one at Turfway Park.

Hollywood Park (Oak Tree) Race 7 {6 1/2 furlongs~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A great group of eight line up for this allownace feature.  Leothelion (Talamo / Puype) has a slight edge with the third highest last ou speed number, a two race progression, and four stellar workouts.  Leaving New York (Valenzuela / O'Callaghan) will challenge with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three serious workouts.  Inverness Cape (M. Garcia / Baffert) looks tough making his second career start with the second highest (tie) last out speed number and three well-built, peaking workouts.  Moonlark (Rosario / Baffert) will be in the mix with a decent last out speed number and three solid, peaking workouts.  Also in the mix will be Scofield Barracks (Bejarano / O'Neill) the other horse with the second highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and one sinewy workout.  Let's play the Oak Tree meet at Hollywood Park.

Turfway Park Race 11 {5 1/2 furlongs~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Claiming}
